NFT STARS Bridge is back and at your service!
Hurray! We were waiting for this moment and here it is — the NFT STARS Bridge for NFTS swapping between the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks is finally restored and at your service!
The NFT STARS bridge provides users with the opportunity to migrate across chains, enabling low fees and high transaction speeds. The bridge is a great way for users to swap their ERC-20 NFTS tokens for BSC compatible ones.
The bridge has been out of service since the hacker attack on July 13th, which is when we decided to urgently stop the service in order to avoid further losses.
How it all happened
The target of the attack was the inner wallet service used for swapping coins between two networks. The exploit resulted in some liquidity drainage and financial losses for the company. We protected our users’ funds and closed the bridge as quickly as possible.
Since then, the team set to work on fixing the problem so that this type of situation does not happen in future. It took us some time, as we are in charge of our clients assets. We decided to check the system for all possible weak spots that could be used in a new attack.

The solution
To avoid this problem in future, our developers decided to redesign the architecture of the application and make the following changes:
1) The system was divided into more layers with individual access to each.
2) All access points were delimited.
3) Encryption systems were strengthened.
Some changes have been made to the internal rules that company employees must follow when managing and working with the system .
For the end users, everything remains the same — you would see no difference when using the bridge.
On our side, we will continue to carefully watch the bridge running and will do our best to prevent any further attacks. More improvements will gradually be made so as to provide a high security and stable working service.
